I listen to my heart break,
I listen as it shatters and pains,
I wonder how much it will take,
To put it back in place,

I wipe my tears from my face,
Hope that I can go away from this place,
And in the morning when I wake,
I pray for strength to face this day.

I polished my makeup one last time and headed back to the restaurant. I hoped the mask I was wearing to cover the hurt would stay intact and I didn't have to excuse myself again. I walked towards Jude, I never really noticed how good looking he was, and as his stood up to meet me, I noticed how kind his eyes were. Do Not Be Afraid...

This is what it must feel like to have a heart attack... Chest pounding, sweat dripping and eyes wide open. I know this room, I hear the birds signing their song outside, I am not having a heart attack. It was just a bad dream. I can't get the image of me squeezing the life out of my child in a crowded airport by the conveyor belt. See, just a few minutes ago, we had arrived at this foreign place and we were tired and couldn't wait to get our luggage and move on to the next leg of journey.
